Obaje, Abdullahi and four other invited by Keshi



 

Plateau United star midfielder Eric Kwame has been called up by coach Stephen Keshi after he shone in a practise match against the Super Eagles Saturday.


Keshi who said he was impressed by the display of his boys as well as the Plateau side was particularly thrilled with Kwame’s display that he handed him an instant call-up.

Five other players were also called up as the coaching crew gets desperate in making a final squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa next month.

The five other invited players who are expected to hit the Bolton White Apartment of the team immediately are Warri Wolves’ Joshua Obaje, Emmanuel Nwankwo of ABS, Sunshine Stars’ Paul Ikenna, Kano Pillars  U20 star Shehu Abdullahi and returnee Heartland winger Obinna Nwachukwu.
