Former Enugu Rangers star set for winter move

Nigerian striker Michael Uchebo, who plays for Belgian side Cercle Brugge may leave his club in January.
23-year-old Uchebo is one of Cercle's best players this season, as he leads club's scoring chart with four goals. His good form has not gone unnoticed and according to Belgian press, some unnamed clubs are considering to sign the player on free in Summer, when his contract expires.

"If Uchebo plays like the past few weeks, we're going to keep him. It may be quite difficult as he is out of contract in June and a number of teams have already been informed. A concrete bid has not yet arrived," said Cercle technical director Sven Jaecques.

However Uchebo himself remain calm and focused just on football. "A transfer is not an issue. I am still concentrating only on Cercle. Then we'll see."

The Belgian side may be willing to sell Nigerian in January to receive some money from transfer, because otherwise he may change the club freely in Summer. They are already considering to loan out replacement for Uchebo from their partnership club Sporting Lisbon.
