John Utaka triumph over Godfrey Oboabona

John Utaka's Sivasspor have grabbed all three points against Godfrey Oboabona's Rizespor after 3:1 victory in Turkish Super Lig match played today.
Sivasspor recorded first win in four matches, while Rizespor extended their winless streak to 10 league games. Sivasspor midfielder Burhan Eser was man of the match, as he was influential in all three goals.

First 45 minutes lacked clear cut chances and one of the very few notable events happened in the 28th minute, when Utaka squandered a good chance to break deadlock as he failed to beat Rizespor keeper with a shot from inside the penalty area. After the break, the game livened up.

The visitors scored first, thanks to a free kick goal by Cernat in the 52nd minute.

On 68 minutes, Eser scored his first goal for Sivasspor in this match and equalized, while seven minutes later he was fouled in the penalty box by Oboabona and French midfielder Chahechouhe made no mistake from the spot.

In the stoppage time Eser sealed the victory with a header.

Thanks to the victory Sivasspor moved up to the 5th place, while Rizespor remain dangerously close to relegation zone in the 14th place.
