Recall that the former Enugu Ranger made Lars Lagerback 30 - man pre - World Cup squad back in 2010 but a right knee injury prevented him from making the trip to South Africa.

“I am fine and all right . I have never been injured since the start of this season.

“I have not been playing, it is the choice of the coach. I am not worried,”Onyekachi Apam told allnigeriasoccer.com.

There are reports linking the 26 - year - old with a move from Rennes in the January transfer window.

But this portal understands that the Super Eagle would love to see out the remainder of his contract which is set to expire in June 2014.

Onyekachi Apam earns around 70,000 euros every month at Rennes.
