Shooting Stars will stage a prompt return to the
Nigeria top flight, according to the club’s
midfielder Sola Adeboye.
The 3SC stand-in captain has therefore assured that despite the departure of several top stars like Dele Ajiboye, Philip Asuquo, Ighadalor Osagona and Kingsley Eduwo the Ibadan club will soon regain their place in the premier league.
“We are really working towards a quick promotion back to the elite league because all hands are on deck now to make our promotion possible next year,” Adeboye told a leading voice.
"We don't want to be carried away with the departure of some of our key players as the club have equally engaged some new players who will take the national league by storm.
"I am staying back because I wish to be part of history come next year, when we will take the team back to the Nigeria Premier League.”
