Beijing Baxy ready to hold on to Makinwa

Nigerian striker Stephen Makinwa is going to stay with his Chinese club Beijing Baxy until the end of his contract which expires in December 2014.
Despite rumours linking Makinwa with various clubs around the world his agent assured that 30-year old striker is not going anywhere.

He intends to stay put at his club in China till his contract finishes by the end of 2014. He is not in a hurry to move.” - revealed player's agent quoted by a reliable source.

Beijng Baxy are second-level team in China and finished last season on 7th place, while Makinwa appeared 11 times for them and scored 4 goals.

Stephen Makinwa started his career with FC Ebedei. In 2000 he moved to Europe, where he represented many Italian clubs including Como, Genoa, Atalanta, Palermo and Lazio. Last year he decided to change the surrounding and signed with Beijing Baxy.
