Tough tackling centre-back, Ndubuisi Ukoha is aware that TEAP FC might be pitched with tougher customers in the latter stages of the 2013 Abuja Pre Season Tournament.
The Nigeria National League side finished tops in Group A with 5 points, but go into the knockout matches with more work to be done after an energy sapping encounter against Alpha FC on Friday.
“It’s going to be hard for us,” he told teapfcabuja.blogspot.com. “All the teams in the tourney are good, but we are too ambitious to be carried away.
“It’s going to be a completely different match when the quarter finals begin on Wednesday – I think it might be a bit tighter than that.
“We have a squad that can adapt to different styles of play, and we are good in all sorts of different situations. “You can see the flair that Ayo'oluwa Adetola, Fred Evans, Peter Hananiah, Chigozie Metu, Emeka Uzor, Saviour Francis, Chimezie Chibuike and Ike Dike brings to the general formation of the team.
The defender then responded to speculation about his playing future, stating that he is committed to consolidating and helping TEAP overcome all rivals in 2013/2014 NNL season.
“Now is not the time to talk about the future,” he said. “As far am concerned I want to play quality football for TEAP and earn an U20 call-up.”
