Ejide in the race to create his won record

Super Eagles second goalkeeper Austin Ejide kept a clean sheet for the third time in a row. He is now unbeaten in the Israeli Premier League for 306 minutes. On Saturday his Hapoel Beer Sheva smashed Maccabi Petah Tikva 3-0.
Ejide is far from 945 minutes without conceding a goal, but Enyeama's result is out of scale.

306 minutes in Israel is also a very good result and the Nigerian goalkeeper has reasons to be happy as it was his 6th match with clean sheet in the 2013/14 campaign.

After Saturday's victory Hapoel reached the top spot in the league and are now 1 point ahead of Maccabi Tel Aviv.

''We're happy getting to be at the top of the log. The race is still a long way but we'll continue to work hard and see how far we can go. UEFA Champions League spot is our objective and we are working hard for it. Hopefully, we'll get there.” - said Ejide quoted by a top source.

On Saturday Ejide had the opportunity to play against a Nigerian. In the 67th minute, Ogude Emmanuel Ifeanyi appeared on the pitch in Maccabi Petah Tikva team. It was the11th game this season for the 19 year-old midfielder, who has already scored one goal this season. His team is on 12th place in league.
