Raheem Lawal hopes to feature at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with Nigeria.
The Mersin Idmunyurdu of Turkey midfielder said he is looking forward to a return to the Super Eagles as the battle for shirts to Brazil 2014 begin.
"It is every player’s dream to play at the World Cup. I am therefore looking forward to represent Nigeria at Brazil 2014,” Lawal told a reliable source.
The former Athletico Beleares of Spain ace has five caps for the Eagles with his last appearance being in a friendly against Catalonia.
He then missed the cut to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
He also revealed he hopes to soon return to the Turkish top flight.
"I wish to play in the Super League soon. I have offers and my team is doing well too, I can't say what will happen now. A transfer is still possible if my buyout clause is met," Lawal said.
At the weekend, the midfielder improved his stocks in Turkey when he grabbed the winner for his club in a nine-goal thriller against Samsunspor.
