NWFL Chief Dilichukwu Rewards Super Falcons

Ahead of their All Africa Games qualifiers against Mali, the chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League, Dilichukwu Onyedinma has given a cash gift of N100,000 to the Super Falcons players .

Onyedinma who visited the Falcons at their training in Abuja urged the African Queens to remain focused and ensure that they beat the Malians and qualify for All Africa games.

She commended the girls for reporting early to camp adding that with the intensity she saw at their training, she is convinced that they would take Mali to the cleaners.

She also called on the girls not to be discouraged by the fact that they have not been hosted by the presidency stressing that President Goodluck Jonathan is not unmindful of their feat and that he would honor them at appropriate time.

“The girls have all it takes to take them to high places but on our own side we still have something to do and that is motivation. Incentives and motivations in things like football and sports in general go a long way to motivate the girls. They are still young and they want to be appreciated when they have done something good for the country” she told the NFF’s official website.
