Onome Ebi has arrived the team’s camp in Abuja with the promise of helping the team earn victory against Mali in its All-Africa Games qualifier in Bamako this weekend.
The FK Minsk, Belarus player, who arrived camp late Monday and was part of the team’s training on Tuesday, said she expects nothing but victory in the encounter as the team did not qualify for the last Olympic Games.
“I expect nothing but victory against Mali because we will go there and carry the day. We did not qualify for the last Games so this one is so important for us. We are going all out and are leaving no stone unturned against Mali. We must win.
“With what our girls have been doing in Abuja and what we the foreign-based are equally doing in our various clubs, beating Mali is a certainty.
“We know the task ahead is not easy, especially because it’s their home ground, but we are ready to go and get a win. Mali must fall and I can see them falling already,” she enthused.
