Head coach of the Nigeria Under-20 team Manu Garba whose team made it to the final of the Africa Youth Championship, says they are ready for any team in the final.
Speaking after his team picked up an emphatic 2-0 semifinal win over Ghana, Garba said his team has no preference between Mali and Senegal, the two teams who will play each other in the other semifinal of the tournament.
"It was a keenly contested game, my boys did not take off early, the best team won we created lots of chances and could have scored more than two" He said in the post match conference.
"Our objective is to be champions and whether it's Mali or Senegal, we are ready for them".
Speaking in the same manner, team striker Taiwo Awoniyi echoed his manager’s sentiments, insisting their aim still remains to lift the trophy.
"After reaching the final we will put in our best to win it, we knew when we qualified for the World cup it will be easier to win the tournament'" He said.
"We came here to qualify for the World cup and the second objective is to win the trophy, we are ready to make our fans at home proud".
