The Nigeria delegation to Sunday’s
senior international friendly with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa
has arrived in the city of Nelspruit, after flying direct from Uyo,
venue of the Super Eagles’ clash with Uganda in another friendly on Wednesday.
Players and officials traveled aboard a CRJ 900 series aircraft belonging to ARIK Air, and landed at the Nelspruit International Airport after seven-and-half hours. The team is led by member of NFF Executive Committee and chairman of the Technical and Development Committee, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu, and includes NFF Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme.
Sunday’s match at the Mbombela Stadium, Mpumalanga, starts at 4pm South Africa time (3pm Nigeria time), but there is a curtain raiser between the U-17 National Team of South Africa and their Malian counterparts, from 1pm.
