Sanusi Assures Flying Eagles On Quality World Cup Preparation

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have assured the Flying Eagles they will get adequate preparation for the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.

   
The Flying Eagles are one of four African teams who have qualified for the tournament, which kicks off in New Zealand on May 30.
   
Newly appointed NFF general secretary Mohammed Sanusi told the Nigeria U20 team via phone on the eve of their African Youth Championship final against hosts Senegal in Dakar that everything will be done to ensure they are well prepared to take on the rest of the world in New Zealand.
   
“We will make sure you have the best of preparations for the World Cup because we are confident you will also make history there,” said Sanusi.
   
Flying Eagles coaches led by Manu Garba congratulated Sanusi on his appointment and promised him his first trophy on Sunday.
    
Skipper Musa Muhammed, who spoke on behalf of the players, said they are galvanized to win the AYC for the seventh time on Sunday.
