Former Super Eagles head coach, Chief Festus Adegboye Onigbinde, says he is reluctant to advise the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on the way forward for the country’s game because the board members no longer reckons with his opinion. Onigbinde, a FIFA and CAF instructor, is sad that “all my contributions have fallen on deaf ears.
Anything I say now concerning our football doesn’t matter. My opinion doesn’t count again. It has become irrelevant for sometime now. I have on several occasions suggested to them what needs to be done for us to get out of the doldrums, which we have found ourselves, yet nothing was done.”
