South African have never defeated the Super Eagles before but midfielder Mandla Masango told the Siya crew that this will change.
He said that not just as a team but as a country we need to win against Nigeria.
"This is a must win game for us. We want to beat Nigeria and win for the first time," Masango said.
"Yes it won't be easy bit it's doable. You know we eliminated them from Afcon 2015 and they failed to defend their trophy. So they will come here to protect their dignity by trying to win but we want to win this one.
"We know we haven't beaten them before but we want to change that tomorrow and win against Nigeria. The players are prepared for that and the mood in the camp is very good."
