New General Secretary of Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Mohammed
Sanusi, has espoused the development of football from the grassroot,
ensuring Nigerian teams prepare well and perform well at international
competitions, unite the Nigeria football fraternity and attracting more
and meaningful sponsorship to the NFF as his vision in administration.
Sanusi took over from Barrister Musa Amadu on Thursday, and at a media parley in Abuja on Friday, sought the support and understanding of journalists as he mounted what remains one of the hottest seats in world football.
“We see the media as partner-in-progress. I want to assure you that the NFF does not have any enemy in the media; what we seek is positive reporting and constructive citicisms when we err.
“Together, and with commitment and sense of purpose, we all can take Nigeria football to new heights.”
