Manchester City Representative To Monitor Flying Eagles Players In New Zealand

Manchester City Head of Player Recruitment Gary Worthington has arrived in New Zealand to monitor talents in the 2015 FIFA Under-20 World Cup which kicks off on Saturday in the Oceanian nation.


Flying Eagles stars including Ifeanyi Matthew, Bernard Bulbwa, Prince Omego, and Kingley Sokari are among the players the Premier League club will be monitoring at the tournament.

Manchester City signed Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho and midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali , who are among the players expected to light up New Zealand 2015, after they helped the Golden Eaglets win the 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

Worthington said he would watch Nigeria’s group fixtures against Brazil and North Korea.
