The defensive midfielder expressed how the spirit within the Desert Stars' camp has risen, lifting a load off the players' shoulders, and allowing them to play with the freedom they have yearned.
“The spirit within the club and among the players is amazing. There’s a renewed fighting spirit, and we are enjoying this feeling, " Ogwuche said.
“We were very happy with our result against Jigawa Golden Stars this past Saturday. Every team needs a little bit of good luck here and there to obtain positive results.
”We are professionals, we will never give up! Our approach has been
the same through. We have not done anything special to prepare for the match against Kogi United, we will go in with the same mentality,” added the midfielder.
Yobe Desert Stars take on Lokoja outfit Kogi United in a Nigeria National League week three clash at the Lokoja Confluence Stadiun on Saturday with the match to get underway by 4pm Nigerian Time.
