ODSFA Motivates Sunshine Stars With Cool Cash

Sunshine Stars players have been paid N100,000 each being the largesse the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) boss, Akin Akinbobola, promised them if they record impressive results in their last four matches.


During the games under review, the Akure Gunners remained unbeaten, grabbing important wins against Wikki Tourists, Heartland, 3SC and Kwara United. They also recorded a heartwarming draw against Nasarawa United in Lafia.

An elated Akinbobola approved the payment of the money and the players who were involved in those matches got N100,000 each while those not dressed for the games were given stipends to serve as encouragement.

Even though the money was only pledged to the players, Akinbobola extended the cash reward to the coaches led by Kennedy Boboye for the fine way Sunshine Stars have been performing in the current season.
