Godswill Elohor who missed the majority of this season for Barcelona B
team put up an impressive display as they claimed a 4-2 friendly win
over Igualada a team from the Catalonia province.
The Nigerian, who turned 20 last week, set up Theo Chandri for his
team's first goal before scoring a goal of his own in a highly
entertaining game that witnessed six goals, four to Barcelona who
paraded a young team with most players from their Juvenile team.
Elohor will be hoping his injury worries are behind him, as he bids to
force his way into International reckoning with the youth teams of
Nigeria although players like goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa and Frank Bagnack
,who he captained at Juvenile level last season, are already full
internationals for Cameroon at senior level.
His injury lead to his omission from the Barcelona B team, who had a
disastrous campaign in the Spanish second division, and are set to be
relegated to the third and it is expected he will play a pivotal role in
trying to help them gain promotion back to the second division next
season.
