Kwara State Stadium Gets Pass Mark For NPFL Matches

The League Management Company has endorsed the Kwara Stadium to host Nigeria Professional Football League matches.

Officials of the LMC, led by Ibrahim Danbatta, on Sat. Feb. 28, declared that the facilities at the stadium are of modern and of international standard.

"The Kwara Stadium is a good sporting edifice, we have gone round and we are impressed by what we have seen. The playing pitch, spectators seating arrangement, a number of places impressed us. It is a safe assumption to say the stadium is ready to host league matches," he said

"There are few things that is still needed to be done."

He said that the LMC is working hard to ensure that all the stadiums to be used for Premier League matches are of standard.

The team was conducted round the facilities by the stadium manager, Mr Wale Babalola and the state Football Association secretary, Mr Jimoh Oke.

Others at the inspection are Kwara United and ABS FC General Managers, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma and Alloy Chukwuemeka.
