Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses has stressed the importance of winning their opening fixture at the World Cup against Iran.
The Nigeria international is aware that the team has to win at
least two matches to be certain of qualifying for the last 16, starting
from the showdown with the Asian powerhouse on Monday, June 16.
''The most important thing for us is the first game. If you
combine the determination of the places where we live with hard work,
you will know that we only need to do so in the field. If we get three
points we will be very happy,'' the 23-year-old said.
In reference to the game against Argentina on June 25, the former Wigan ace has admitted that the contest will not be easy.
'' To be honest with you, this game will not be easy. But against
Iran it will not be an easy game, against Bosnia, it will not be an
easy game.
''We just need to be a strong team. If we can win those three
games, it would be great, but it's very important to win the first game
and get the three points,'' he concluded.
