Solomon Ogbeide has been appointed as the new head coach of Nigeria Premier League side Bayelsa United reports SL10.
Ogbeide who has handled Akwa United and Lobi Stars in the past will also work with ex-Ocean Boys coach Ada Gwegwe, as part of his back room staffs.
Bayelsa United have been without a permanent coach since Ladan Bosso
left the team to take over the reins at Abia Warriors at the start of
the season.
Richard Bubagha was made caretaker manager after Bosso's departure and
guided the team through their ill fated CAF Confederations cup campaign
where they failed to reach the group stage.
After starting the season in a promising note their form
nosedived and the team picked up only one win from their last 8 games
before the end of the first stanza leading to the suspension of Richard
Bubagha.
The former Warri Wolves gaffer is expected to reposition the
team to help them achieve their pre season vow of finishing in the top
four places.
