Football governing body, FIFA, has released the latest ranking of Women’s National Teams for the period ended June 20, 2014.
Africa powerhouse, the Falcons, retained their 34th position in the global ranking while they continue to set the pace on the continent.
Ghana, Cameroon, South Africa and Equatorial Guinea complete the top five teams in Africa in that order.
The United States continue to top the ranking followed by Germany, Japan and France.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking will be published on 19 September 2014.
