Greg Etafia is
delighted that his country man and the Super Eagles first choice
goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, is finally getting the global recognition
he deserves.
The Swallows goal minder said Enyeama has been the star man for the
Super Eagles who will meet France on Monday in the last 16 of the Brazil
2014 World cup.
Etafia, who has been with the Dube Birds since 2003, told SL10 that
Enyeama and the whole team have made his country and the whole continent
very proud.
“I’m very proud and excited let me tell you, through the grace of the
Lord, the team is now in the last 16 of the competition and I wish them
the best of luck against France on Monday,” said the former Lobi Stars
and Plateau United keeper.
“They were in a tough group, but managed to fight and make it to the
last 16 and I expect them to give France a run for their money on
Monday,” said the goalkeeper.
