Super Eagles midfielder, Reuben Gabriel, has been ruled out of
Nigeria's match against Iran at the World cup after missing Friday's
training session at the Guarani FC Stadium in Campinas, Brazil.
Stephen Keshi confirmed that the Ex-Kano Pillars man won't be
ready for the game against Iran but he is only out for the short time.
"He is getting better, we expect him to be ready for other games
after the first one. That is why he was asked to rest not to complicate
issues,”He told reporters after Friday's training.
The Waasland Beveren man was reported to have been a victim of a
hard tackle from his teammate in Thursday's training and walked with the
team physiotherapist round the pitch while his teammates trained on
Friday.
Gabriel missed six months during his turbulent stay with Kilmarnock in Scotland due to niggling injuries and knocks.
