Chigozie Udoji took his goal tally for the season to six after grabbing a brace for Dinamo Minsk in their 3-0 win over Shakhtyor Soligorsk in a Belarus top division game played on Sunday evening.
The 27-year-old Nigeria born Ex Bulgaria Under-21 International opened scoring for Dinamo Mink in the 55th minute and 85th minute as they romp to the top of the table one point ahead of their rival Bate Borisov who have a game in hand.
Udoji joined Dinamo Minsk in March from Greek side Aris Saloniki where he scored 5 times but had to leave due to the club's financial issues.
Born in Lagos Nigeria as Chigozie Udoji, In July 2006, he received a Bulgarian passport and a Bulgarian name, Mitko Atanasov Georgiev.
He made his debut the following year for Bulgaria Under-21 in a friendly match against Greece Under-21 and scored twice.
The match ended in a 4–1 win for Bulgaria, but his hope of International football with Bulgaria was truncated after he was found to be ineligible and could from then on only represent Nigeria.
