Dolphins Football Club has finally received a letter from the League Management Company, LMC with approval to use its Liberation Stadium home ground to host League matches.
The letter signed by the Chief Operating Officer, COO of the LMC, Salihu Abubarkar ended by saying, “It is very okay. I hereby recommend the Liberation Stadium for GPL matches.”
However, the LMC pointed out certain aspects of the stadium that requires working on, some before the season kicks off and for others, a specified time frame was given to fix. Media Officer of the club, China Acheru stated that the club is happy to have their stadium approved by the LMC.
“Every team wants to play in front of its fans no matter how little they are. We are happy we can play on our ground and we will certainly make sure we do not disappoint the LMC who have given us the go ahead to use our ground,” Acheru said.
“We understand what the LMC is doing and we will work around the clock to get our stadium as close to 100% ready as possible.” “Good thing our first game is on the road to Heartland. We believe that by the time we play against Giwa FC a week later, we will be ready for the League.”
