Shammah hopes for better fortune despite loss in Lokoja

Shammah Tanze wants FRSC FC to move away from the defeat at Kogi United as quickly as possible, and says the team must focus on the remaining Nigeria National League matches in their bid to pick a promotion ticket to the first tier division.

The youngster has been a revelation for the Uche Okagbue-tutored FRSC in the Group A of the current Nigeria National League season. He also showed some glimpses despite the two-nil setback at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium on Saturday.

However, the all action forward is at a loss with the team's defeat on the day, but says they must move on quickly from the setback.

"It was one of those days when things did not go our way - all of us, to be honest," Shammah said. "But we really have to move on from this defeat quickly. We just have to go home and solve our mistakes.

"I don't want to talk about the performance of the match referee, it's a game of football. We just lost and we have to bounce back."

“We have to psyche ourselves up starting with the DSS game, and bounce back. A win is achievable. We will have to bounce back quickly, '' he said in a chat with futbalgalore.blogspot.com after the match.
