Tourists commends Abdulrahman


In its effort to continue monopolizing the top position in the group A of the on-going Nigeria national league table, the management of Wikki Tourists Football club of Bauchi, under the good leadership of Sule Abdullahi Chindo, has passed a vote of confidence in the technical head of the team Coach Tunde Abdurahamman and therefore commended him for a job well done so far.


The commendation was made to sports journalists through the media officer of the club Usman Abbas Shehu. According to the statement by the media officer, Chindo made the commendation after a two hours emergency meeting of the management and technical crew on Wednesday at the multipurpose indoor sports hall Bauchi.

The meeting according to Abbas Shehu was to brainstorm on the seven matches so far played to identify areas of weakness with a view to correcting them for future matches. And at the same time look at the success and improved ways to maintain the present league table to the end.

The management also said to ensure that the team maintains it lead in the group (A) which will at the end of the season bring the team to its rightful place in the Premier League assured that all entitlement of players and technical crew will be paid without delay and more motivating allowance where created to encourage the team.

 “One of the motivating encouragement to the team as agreed in our last meeting was to start paying our players and technical crew members advance match bonus both at home and away, we shall pay them their match bonus a day before the match.” All we need is victory so enjoy your match bonus and give us goals,” said Sule Chindo.
 
Head coach of the team, Coach Tunde Abdulrahaman, who was at the meeting expressed delight with the confidence reposed in him by the management of the team and had assured that with this encouragement and concern by the management sky will be their limit in ensuring that the team got promotion into the Premier League at the end of this season.

They have done it before and this time around we will do it together Coach Tunde explained that out of the 35 players recruited he has tested 21 players the remain will be tested before the end of the first round. Unfolding that by the time the second round started he had made his complete team that would give him Premier League football at the end of the season to justify the confidence in him by the management of Wikki and justify his pay by Bauchi State Government.

Coach Tunde said he has concluded all his technical strategy to win his next away match in Kaduna against his former team Ranchers Bees on Saturday in a week eight encounter.
