Ujah Blames Ill- Luck For Goal Drought

Cologne attacker Anthony Ujah is not losing sleep that the goals have refused to come in his last six matches in the 2 Bundesliga.

The Nigeria international is taking solace in the fact that the Billy Goats need 22 points from the remaining games in the championship to be assured of returning to Germany's top flight assuming teams below them do not drop points.

Since netting a brace either side of the half against Fortuna Düsseldorf late December, Anthony Ujah has failed to add to his tally of seven goals this season.

''I've been unlucky in the last couple of games but as a team we are doing well and I'm proud of my contributions having being involved in all the games so far.

''We are maintaining our top position and with the confidence in the team, we believe we shall achieve our target of securing promotion to the Bundesliga a the end of the season,'' Anthony Ujah said.

Apart from his brace against Leon Balogun's Fortuna Düsseldorf, the 23 - year - old also registered his name on the score-sheet in games against FSV Frankfurt, Energie Cottbus (2), Dynamo Dresden and the home fixture with Fortuna Düsseldorf in July.

Undefeated in their last 5 matches, Cologne will be hoping to build on their good form when they entertain Aalen on Saturday.
