Famuditi Delighted With First League Goal‏

Sunshine Queens defender Kemi Famuditi has thanked Almighty God for Saturday’s 1-0 win over Osun Babes in a Nigeria Women Premier League week four match played at the Akure Township Stadium.

The right-back scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute, thus sealing her team's second win of the campaign.

Sunshine Queens have gained six points from a possible 12 and are back in the top six of the league ladder.

The upcoming defender wrote on her facebook platform: ''God I return all glory to your name for my first goal of the season.......Halleluyah. We just thank God for giving us this victory because it is not our strength, it is not by our power but by His Grace so we are all happy that we won,” Kemi told a reliable source.

“We can now look forward to our next game against Bayelsa Queens so that we can be sure of our title credentials. It is not going to be easy because everybody wants to win. We just tell the fans to pray for us so that everything will be fine,'' she said.
