Media officer of Nigeria U17 women, Jennifer Okoye says the girls are capable of getting a favourable result against Belgium U17 women in a Costa Rica 2014 build up match in Brussels today.
Jennifer cited Sunday's 5-1 win against Clube Futebol Benfica as evidence of the team's current form.
“The massive victory against Clube Futebol Benfica is a prelude or dress rehearsal of what to expect in Brussels against Belgium U17 women,” Jennifer noted.
The Nigeria U17 women continued their fine form on Sunday when they dismissed Clube Futebol Benfica 5-1 in their last friendly match in Portugal.
“We are playing by 2pm Nig Time. The players are ready, everyone is ready,” Jennifer said.
“The weather is a bit cold here (Brussels) compared to Faro. Everything is just perfect, there is no problem at all.
“The technical crew led by Bala Nkiyu has made two changes to the team that defeated Clube Futebol Benfica on Sunday,” the former Grace FM Lokoja presenter said.
