Arinze confident Of Elkanemi's Credentials‏

Elkanemi Warriors have made a slow start to the season but striker Obioma Arinze says the club can surpass last campaign's 4th place finish, despite the one-nil loss suffered at Warri Wolves.


Although the result wasn't what the team's fans had wanted to witness, the former Nembe City player is convinced Warriors can beat anyone in the Globacom Nigeria Premier League.

It's a new season and we know we can beat any opposition,” Arinze said moments after the match.

“The best thing to do is to play good football and give 100 percent to win. Once again we are going to face top clubs of Nigeria this season and I think we have a good chance of qualifying to play the Champions League or Confederation Cup.

“No team will come to our home without being beaten. We believe we can challenge for the title,” he said.
