Crown gets over Lobi 'robbery'...vows to take Heartland pound of flesh

Crown FC was on match day one robbed in Katsina Ala in the opening clash against Lobi Stars, having conceded a 97minutes goal from the homer's Eze Stephen who nodded in a controversial corner-kick.

The Ajilete boys have left the broad day robbery behind them to go for full concentration into the week 2 match against Heartland FC on Sunday.

General Manager of the club, Alhaji Fatai Olayinka disclosed to a top source that the number one fan and chief financier of the team, Governor Abiola Ajimobi will lead other members of the executive council to cheer the boys to victory.

Olayinka added that the presence of the Governor and the amiable Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Development Alhaji Faruok Umar Alao  will be a morale-booster for the team against the visitors.

Team gaffer, Lawrence Akpokona while psyching up his boys told them that they have no business with the status of Heartland or any other big club in Nigeria.

“All we have to do is to continue to dominate the game more than we did in Lobi Stars. The match holds is a must win for us and I hope you are all fired up for the task ahead,” the highly experienced coach said.

Newly signed forward of the team Okafor Onyebuchi said he's ready for vengeance against the Naze Millionaires.

“Victory is non-negotiable for us,” Onyebuchi said.
