Former Flying Eagles winger joins Sharks

Soga Sambo has joined Sharks after quitting Sunshine Stars in the off season.

Sambo who was close to a move to league newcomers Taraba FC, joined the Port Harcourt based team last week.
"I chose Sharks ahead of Taraba because they are a traditional team with a rich history of staying up in the NPFL,and I believe they will help me in achieving my dreams of lifting the league crown before I quit football," said Sambo.

" I couldn't agree financial terms with Taraba FC ,we were a little bit apart in what we want, I left in a civil manner - no hard feelings."

Sambo, 28, has played for Kwara United, Shooting Stars, and Sunshine Stars locally and was a part of the Nigeria under-17 to the world cup in 2003,he was also part of the Silver winning under-20 team in Holland in 2005.

On the continent, he has turned out for Asec Mimosa of Ivory Coast and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.
