Adeyemo dreams Taraba victory, sends goodwill message to Flamingoes

Head Coach of Taraba Queens Moruf Adeyemo has charged his girls to go all out for victory in the tough week 3 tie against Federation Cup Queens Rivers Angels in Jalingo over the weekend.

The former FCT Queens and Sunshine Queens boss in a telephone chat with futbalgalore.blogspot.com disclosed that he expects nothing but outright victory in the fierce match.

“We are disappointed to have drawn the week 2 match against Delta Queens. If we can win the week 3 game, we will sit comfortably on the log and plot our way to the top,” Adeyemo remarked.

Speaking on the spirit of the team, the tactician said that his girls are ready to make the club and the fans proud.

“The spirit in the team is fantastic and we are all focused on the task that lies ahead. We have a strong fighting spirit and I'm sure that's exactly what we need at this moment,” he posited.

Meanwhile, the amiable coach has backed the Nigeria U17 women team to secure the Trophy if they maintain their current form at the World Cup which is due to kickoff this weekend.

Flamingoes are unbeaten in seven friendly games and the coach is convinced they can earn a place in the record books.

“The team is in peak condition. I consider them as champions in waiting if they can maintain the form they displayed during the Tour.
