Ndifreke Inspires Warriors To Big Win Over Bayelsa

Abia Warriors recorded a valuable 3-1 win at home to Bayelsa United to push up the ladder in the Nigeria Professional Football League.


Warriors are in 9th position with 22 points from 15 games, while Bayelsa United have 14 points from same number of matches.

Bolaji Sarkin put the hosts ahead in the 11th minute from an assist by Ndifreke Effiong

Seven minutes later, Ifeanyi Onyeali headed home the second for the hosts as Effiong got  another assist.

Effiong struck on the 26th minute mark for Warriors third goal of the match.

With fifteen minutes left on the clock, Eric Frimpong grabbed a face saving goal for the Restoration Boys.
