Ike Ugho On Song In Blues Rout Of Bournemouth

Anglo-Nigerian striker Ike Ugho was on the scoresheet for Chelsea U18 who whitewashed Bournemouth U18 4-1 at Cobham on Saturday.

The fast rising Ugho scored 11 goals last season as a schoolboy and maintained that confidence in front of goal as he poked in from close range.

The visitors levelled before the interval with a strike that left goalkeeper Jared Thompson with no chance.

Luke McCormick then found target with an arrowing strike into the top corner after the restart to restore Chelsea's lead.

It was an entirely different side for the second period, with second-year scholars Ali Suljic and Faiq Bolkiah involved as Joe Edwards looked to share the minutes around after just a few days of pre-season training.

Two further Chelsea strikes in the second half capped a strong performance and secured a 4-1 win
