Nigeria Professional Football leaders, Sunshine Stars made it their 10th win of the season, courtesy of their 2-0 victory over Bayelsa United in Akure on Sunday.
Goals to Kingsley Eduwo and Adeniji Tunde set up the victory for Kennedy Boboye's men, taking them to 33 points in 17 matches - and seeing still on top of the table, one more than Wikki Tourists who won 2-1 against Elkanemi Warriors.
Picking up where they left off when they drew 1-1 with Lobi Stars, the Owena Waves looked dangerous going forward at the Akure Stadium - and their team balance was on show.
Against the clueless Restoration Boys, it was Eduwo who powered home the first goal in the 1st minute.
Adeniji made it 2-0 shortly after the hour mark to cap a wonderful display from the in-form hosts.
The Sunshine Stars goal was largely untroubled in the second half, as the hosts completed another impressive result.
