Sunday wrap of Naija Players Abroad


FRANCE
Super Eagles number one goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama gave a good account of himself in Lille's 2-0 win over Montpellier.


TURKEY
Nigeria defender Taye Taiwo missed Bursaspor's 1-0 home win to Karabukspor but Michael Eneramo played all 90 minutes for the away team.

Godfrey Oboabona did not make the trip with Rizespor as they won 1-2 at Antalyaspor.

ISRAEL
Austin Ejide was in goal for Hapoel Be'er Sheva as they won 1-0 against Hapoel Haifa.

Nigerian-born forward Yero Bello came off the bench to hit a brace for Ashdod but his goals were not enough as Hapoel Tel Aviv won 4-5 at the Yud Alef Stadium; but it was a no show for former Sharks defender Juwon Oshaniwa who wasn't listed.

Bnei Yehuda Dele Aiyenugba was at the thick of the action as his club drew two-all at Maccabi Haifa. The former Enyimba captain was brilliant in goal.

 ITALY
Ogenyi Onazi was at the heart of the midfield for SS Lazio who lost 1-0 to Atalanta.

GREECE
Aris humbled Olympiakos 2-1 with former Flying Eagles midfielder Michael Olaitan missing through injury.

PORTUGAL
Gil Vicente defeated Christian Irobiso's Pacos Ferreira 2-0. Simmy Nwankwo's poor form did not allow him a place in the Vicente team.

CYPRUS
Defender Ganiu Ogungbe did not play for Omonia Nicosia in their 1-0 win against Ethnikos Achna. But Rasheed Alabi was on from start to finish for Omonia, while Philip Chidi Onyemah fired blanks for Ethnikos.

INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY MATCH
Domin Chatto's Bodo/Glint were too hot for Aalesund, winning 2-1.

ENGLAND
Omotsone Aluke missed a spot kick in Hull City's FA Cup 2-0 victory against Sunderland.

GERMANY
Leon Balogun was expectedly not selected by Fortuna Dusseldorf boss Olaf Janssen when they drew 1-1 at Dynamo Dresden.

GREECE
Defender Dele Adeleye was at the heart of defence for Ergotelis in their 2-1 loss at Panthrakikos Komotini.

RUSSIA
Ahmed Musa started the match for CSKA Moscow who were beaten 4-2 at Dinamo Moscow.
