Nigerian looses spot kick in England

Hull City's Omatsone Aluko had his team mates to thank after the consequence of his penalty miss was wiped out by three goals in a space of nine minutes as Hull progress to the Semi-Finals for the second time in their history at the expense of Sunderland in the FA Cup.

Aluko saw his first half penalty saved by Goalkepper Oscar Ustariz in the Sunderland Goal with scores at 0-0.

His effort to make atonement for his lost was thwarted as he was substituted in the 67 minutes for Robert Koren.

However goals from Curtis Davies,David Myler and Matt Fryatt ensured Hull City's progress to the FA cup Semi-Final for the first time since 1930.

Aluko has so far made a total of 13 appearances for Hull City with two goals this season after injuries kept him out for two months towards the end of last year.

Hull City will now play Sheffield United in the semi-Final at Wembley scheduled for the weekend of the 12 and 13 of April.
