Naija Players Xploits Abroad (Saturday Version)

DENMARK
 
In the Denmark Superligaen, Slyvester Igboun, Rinwan Hassan and Izunna Uzochukwu all started in Midtjlland's 1-0 loss to Nordsjaelland.  Ebere Paul Onuachu came off the bench to play 10 minutes for the home team.
 
ENGLAND
 
Chelsea put six past Arsenal in a one-sided match. Midfielder John Obi Mikel was introduced by the Blues in the 72nd minute.
 
Winger Victor Moses was an unused substitute by Liverpool who won 6-3 at Cardiff City.
 
Super Eagles forward Shola Ameobi was introduced in the 76th minute by Newcastle who beat Crystal Place 1-0.
 
Nigeria striker Sone Aluko played from the right wing for Hull City, who West Brom 2-0 at home. He was replaced after 61 minutes. Also in action was Victor Anichebe.
 
Joseph Yobo played 90 minutes for Norwich in the club's 2-0 win against visiting Sunderland.
 
Defender Kenneth Omeruo was a full timer for Middlesbrough in the 3-1 home loss to Nedum Onuoha's QPR, who also lasted the length for the Londoners.
 
Former QPR defender Danny Shittu was not in the Millwall team when they lost 2-1 at Leeds United.
 
Reading defeated Birmingham City 2-1 away from home. Nigeria pair of Jordan Obita and Hope Akpan both started the game and were on for the entire 90 minutes, with Jordan Ibe being introduced as a second half substitute for City.
 
GERMANY
 
Chinedu Obasi came off the bench in the 71st minute to play in Schalke 04’s 3-1 win over Braunschweig.
 
Anthony Ujah played 56 minutes for Cologne when they drew 0-0 at home to Aalen.
 
Leon Balogun was not in the Fortuna Dusseldorf team that drew 0-0 at FSV Frankfurt.
 
GREECE
 
Abdul Ajagun was benched for the entire duration in Panathinaikos' 3-1 win over Apollon Smirnis.
 
ISREAL
 
Austin Ejide played the full 90 minutes for Hapoel Beer Sheva as they hammered Bnei Sachnin 2-0.
 
SCOTLAND
 
Defender Efe Ambrose came off the bench to play 29 minutes for Celtic when they condemned St Mirren to a 3-0 loss.
 
SLOVENIA
 
Marshal Johnson was again involved in ND Gorica's league match as he featured in the stalemate against Rudar.
 
SPAIN
 
After almost three months out with a Meniscus injury picked up in training, former Nigeria Under-23 skipper Odion Ighalo returned to action last night in Granada's 1-0 win at home to Elche.
 
TURKEY
 
Defender Godfrey Oboabona  played in central defence for Rizespor who were held to a 0-0 draw by Eskisehirspor.
 
Antalyaspor played a 0-0 draw with Karabukspor. Former Flying Eagles skipper Isaac Promise lasted the entire match for Antalyaspor but Michael Eneramo was the component of the visitors.
 
UKRAINE
 
Lukman Haruna provided an assist in a substitute appearance in the colours of Dynamo Kyiv when they won 4-0 against helpless Metalurh Zaporizhya, while Brown Ideye was rooted to the substitutes bench.
 
VIETNAM
 
Former Kwara United striker Yahaya Adamu saw full time action for Qunag Nam but he was unable to help them avoid a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Sunday Emmanuel's Thanh Hoa.
