Despite failing to get on the scoresheet for CSKA Moscow in their one
nil win over Zenith St. Petersburgh, Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa has
been rated man of the match by the Russian Times.
Musa got an eight out of ten in the match ratings, one more than his team mate Alan Dzagoev who got a seven.
Musa's cut back was nicely tucked into the net by Georgi Milanov for
the game's only goal in the 32nd minute and aside from grabbing an
assist he was a torn in the flesh of the Zenith St. Petersburg defence
for the 90 minute he lasted on the pitch.
The win has taken CSKA Moscow to 37 points just 6 points behind leaders Lokomotiv Moscow.
Ahmed Musa has so far scored 5 times this season after 21 games for CSKA Moscow.
The speedy winger is among the few set of players guaranteed a world
cup spot for Nigeria later this year when the World cup begins in
Brazil.
