Nigeria Women Premier League Wrap

Two goals from Oghogho Williams was all Osun Babes needed to beat Nasarawa Amazon at the Federal Polytechnic Ede Sports Complex on Saturday.

Oghogho, who was making her first appearance in the present season, got the first goal in the 11th minute of the game through a well taken 35-metre freekick.

The game continued with the two sides trying to take control of the midfield, most especially Ganiyat Adeleke of Osun Babes and Margeret Dike of Nasarawa Amazons.

Nasarawa Amazons got a very good chance to level up in the 35th minute, when striker Adejoke Ejalonibu got past the defensive duo of Alani Aminat and Adedayo Abiodun to hit the ball over the bar.

Oghogho scored another goal in the 54th minutes - after receiving a through pass from Seyi Gbadebo to score one of the best goals of the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign.
