Kelvin Itoya believes that if Warri Wolves can replicate the form they showed against Elkanemi Warriors, they are capable of winning the Premier League.
The CAF Confederation Cup campaigners picked up 1-0 home victory against Elkanemi on Thursday afternoon, and youthful striker Itoya, who wasn't dressed for the match was pleased with both the style and the substance.
"We played better over the 90 minutes and deserved the win against Elkanemi," the 2012 National Sports Festival product forward told a top source.
''The game was difficult because they wanted to win. But we have a very good team. If we play like we did [on Thursday] in Warri, we could trouble teams this season.
"The Warri fans were amazing. The atmosphere was something enticing. The team played very well and prevailed in most of the one-on-one situations."
Wolves currently are in 6th position in the league log with 3 points from one game while Elkanemi have no points and sit 16th.
