A top chief of the Nigeria Football Federation,
Musa Amadu has backed the new U20 head coach, Manu Garba to be a success
and replicate the good job he did at the U17 level.
In a recent chat with local radio station Brilafm, Amadu said a tough challenge awaits the coach ahead of the qualifiers for the African Youth Championship in Senegal next year.
However, he does back the Flying Eagles to reach the heights that are expected by the football ruling body in Nigeria.
“The technical staffs are facing an uphill task. They have to start from the scratch as far as building a good U20 side is concerned,” he told Brilafm.
The coach has a pedigree at the U17 level and Nigerians will expect that he will provide the same type of winning mentality that he did at the U17.
“I'm confident the Federation has picked the right man for the job,” Amadu added.
