CAF Appoints Nigerian Refs For CAF Confed Cup

Joshua Amao, Peter Edibi, Robert Aundugh and Ferdinand Undoh will handle a CAF Confederations Cup match this weekend in Zambia between Zesco United and Medeama from Ghana.


Joshua Amao will be the centre ref while Peter Edibi and Robert Aundugh will assist him and Ferdinand Udoh will be the fourth official.  Meanwhile CAF have also announced the referees that will handle the match involving both Bayelsa United and Warri Wolves on the Continent.

Bayelsa United who are yet to lose a match on the continent this year will leave Nigeria on Thursday to face Zimbabwean club, How Mine FC while Mensur Kherseed, Angeson Ogbamariam, Berhe O'Micheal and Luelseghed Gherbremichael, all from Eritrea were named as match officials.

Warri Wolves unlike their first match where they played the first leg away from home will start from home this time around against a Tunisian side, Club Athletic Bizertin. Moroccan referees will be in charge of the encounter in Warri. Noureddine El Jaafari, Mohammed Lahmidi, Abdelaziz Mehraji and Mournir Errahmani will be in charge.
