Caterpillar praise his boys despite draw, Eguma rate match officials high

After seeing his team drop two points at home by drawing 1-1 with visiting Dolphins, Heartland’s new head coach, Kelechi Emeteole has revealed his satisfaction with the performance of his side.


 “The boys played well and gave their all. We have lots of players who are not yet eligible to play because of delays in the registration process,” Emetoele said.

 “I am sure that by the time we get our full team you will see much better displays.”

Emeteole who was making his return as Coach of Heartland thanked the fans for their supports even when things appears not to be going on well with his team.

"Our supporters were simply at their best cheering us even when we weren't doing as well as we can do,we owe them a good placement at the end of the season as payback," he added.


On his part, Dolphins’ manager Stanley Eguma said he was happy with the performance of his young side.

“The two teams played well but I must give kudos to my boys for a job well done,” Eguma stated.

 “The pitch affected my play a bit but I give it to my young players who held out on till the end.”

Eguma also reserve special praise for goalkeeper Austin Brown who was outstanding between the sticks for Dolphins.

“I will score him 10 over 10 if am ask to, he was at his best today, personally I always know he was capable of doing such am happy he is finally proving me right.”
